Pay notice-period salary and severance as per our offer letters

What happened

I'm reaching out to bring attention to a workplace issue at Zocket, an AI/SaaS startup, which I believe deserves independent investigation.

More than 30 employees were laid off, and I'm one of those affected. What has been particularly upsetting is not just losing our jobs, but the way the process was handled.

The layoff email was sent on a Friday night, after employees had left the office. From my experience, there was no proper conversation or meaningful explanation before the decision was communicated. The severance offered to me was just 15 days, leaving me to deal with the sudden loss of employment and its financial consequences.

Beyond the layoffs, I have concerns about the gap between the company's public AI/SaaS positioning and the work I observed internally. In-house designers and editors were carrying out substantial creative work, and I believe the relationship between the company's marketing claims and its actual operations deserves closer scrutiny.

There is also a concerning issue involving employee reviews. I published a review about my experience on AmbitionBox, but it is no longer visible. I've noticed other critical reviews that also appear to have disappeared. Following my decision to speak publicly about my experience, I've faced what I believe is pressure from an HR representative regarding my review.

Each “same here” shows Zocket this isn’t one person’s story. Nobody sees who said it.
