Swiggy AI Support is Pathetic and Doesn't Solve the User Query
The ask
Reinstate a direct option to speak to a human support agent when an order goes past its delivery window.
I ordered a Veggie Delite from a Subway just 1.5 km away at 4:30 PM. It’s a short distance and should have been a standard 30-minute delivery. Instead, I got trapped in an AI delay loop. When I asked support where my order was at 4:55 PM, the AI bot told me 5:05 PM. At 5:07 PM, it pushed the ETA to 5:15 PM. At 5:16 PM, it pushed it again to 5:29 PM. I could have walked to the restaurant, eaten, and walked back in that time. The real issue isn't just the delay—it's that Swiggy's policy traps you. They offer zero refunds if you cancel after the first minute. You are forced to sit there, hungry, talking to a machine that infinitely shifts your delivery time while holding your money hostage. Swiggy has replaced human accountability with a chatbot designed to string customers along until they give up. This isn't just a glitch; it's a deliberate dark pattern, and thousands of customers are getting stuck in it daily.
