Your identity is yours. Here's how we protect it.
PetitionFox is built so you can hold a brand accountable without putting your full name on display.
How you appear
On the Wall and on every case, you're shown as your first name and last initial — for example, “Sabyasachi C.” Your full name, email, and login details are never shown publicly.
What we collect

Account basics — your name and email, used to sign you in and notify you about your cases.

Case content — what you write and the evidence you attach. This is public by design, since a case only works in the open.

Location (optional) — the city/state you add to a case, shown so patterns by region become visible. Leave it blank and it stays private.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't run third-party ad trackers on your activity. We don't expose your email or full name to other users or to the brands you file against.
Your control
You can close a case at any time, and request deletion of your account and its data by emailing privacy@petitionfox.in.
