Implement mandatory daily freshness and expiry audits across all Zepto dark stores. Institute an immediate, no-questions-asked full refund policy for any order where spoiled or stinking food is delivered.
I ordered groceries from Zepto expecting fresh items, but the delivery I received was completely spoiled and literally stinking. It was so rotten that it was entirely unfit for consumption. This is a growing pattern in quick commerce. In the rush to maintain 10-minute delivery times, dark stores are completely bypassing basic hygiene and quality control. Customers are paying full price for convenience, but are instead being sent expired and rotting inventory. Quick commerce should not mean compromising on basic food safety.
