Can my company find out it was me?

Not from PetitionFox. When you post anonymously, your name and profile appear nowhere on the site or in the email to the company, and we don't share them. Details in your story can still point to you, like your team, exact dates or a project, so leave out anything only you would know.

Salary or dues not paid

Under the Labour Codes in force since 21 November 2025, your last wages must be paid within two working days of leaving. Complaints about unpaid wages or dues can go to the Ministry of Labour's SAMADHAN portal.

PF not deposited

Check your PF passbook with your UAN. If deposits are missing, file a grievance with EPFO. Gratuity is due after five years of continuous service (one year for fixed-term employees).

Sexual harassment at work

Complain to your company's Internal Committee (every workplace with 10 or more employees must have one), within three months of the incident. Smaller workplaces: the district's Local Committee. You can also file on SHe-Box.

Laid off or terminated

Ask HR for the reason and your settlement in writing, and check your appointment letter for notice and severance terms. Disputes over termination can also go to SAMADHAN.
